This Privacy Policy describes how WoWGames collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the WoWGames website, mobile applications published on Google Play and other app stores, and related web-based games (collectively, the "Services").

This policy is designed to meet Google Play's User Data and Data safety requirements and to comply with applicable privacy laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) where applicable, and other regional data-protection laws.

By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

WoWGames is the data controller for personal information processed through the Services, unless otherwise stated for a specific third-party service integrated into an app.

2. Information WoWGames Collects

WoWGames collects information in the following categories depending on how you use the Services.

2.1 Information you provide directly

Feedback & support requests (website): When you submit the WoWGames feedback form, WoWGames collects your name, email address, selected game, and message content.
Account registration (Snake Arena and similar titles): If you create an account, WoWGames may collect a username, email address, and authentication credentials (stored as a secure password hash, not plain text).
Guest play: Some games allow guest access with a locally generated or server-assigned identifier that is not linked to your real identity unless you later register an account.

2.2 Information collected automatically

Gameplay and app activity: Scores, levels, XP, match history, selected skins or preferences, game mode, and similar gameplay statistics when you use online features or cloud-saved progress.
Device and technical data: Device type, operating system version, app version, language settings, and general diagnostic information needed to operate and secure the Services.
Network data: IP address and connection metadata may be processed by hosting providers used by WoWGames when you use online features (for example, multiplayer sessions or leaderboards). WoWGames does not use IP addresses to determine your precise physical location.
Crash and performance logs: If crash reporting is enabled in a future update, WoWGames may collect crash stack traces and device state at the time of failure. WoWGames will update this policy before enabling such tools.

2.3 Information stored locally on your device

Several WoWGames titles store data only on your device and do not transmit it to WoWGames servers unless you use online features:

Alien Snake: High scores, endless mode stage progress, skin/color preferences (browser local storage on web; Android app private storage on device).
Offline game modes: Progress and settings may remain on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app.

Locally stored gameplay data is generally not personal information because it is not linked to your identity unless combined with an account.

2.4 What WoWGames Does Not Collect

Unless explicitly disclosed in an app update or required by law, WoWGames apps currently do not collect:

Precise or coarse GPS location
Contacts, SMS, call logs, or phone numbers
Photos, videos, or files from your device
Health, financial, or government ID information
Biometric data

4. How WoWGames Uses Information

WoWGames uses collected information for the following purposes:

Third-party SDKs (such as analytics, ads, or social login) will be listed in this policy and in the Google Play Data safety form before they are added to any app. Currently, Alien Snake does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

7. Permissions (Mobile Apps)

WoWGames apps request only permissions needed for core functionality. Typical permissions include:

Internet access: Required for online multiplayer, leaderboards, account login, and loading web-based game content where applicable.
Vibration: Optional haptic feedback during gameplay (where supported).
Network state: To detect connectivity for online features.

WoWGames does not request sensitive permissions (contacts, microphone, camera, location, storage for unrelated purposes) unless a future feature requires them and this policy is updated first.

8. Advertising & In-App Purchases

Advertising: WoWGames games currently do not display third-party behavioral advertising. If ads are introduced, WoWGames will update this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration before release.
In-app purchases: If a game offers purchases, transactions are processed by Google Play (or the relevant store). WoWGames does not receive your full payment card details. Purchase history may be used to restore entitlements.

9. Cookies & Similar Technologies (Website)

The WoWGames website may use:

Essential cookies: Required for basic site operation and security.
Analytics cookies (if enabled in the future): To understand aggregate traffic and usage. WoWGames will request consent where required by law before enabling non-essential cookies in the EEA/UK.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some website features.

10. Data Security

WoWGames implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for network communications, access controls, and secure storage of authentication credentials (hashed passwords). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; WoWGames cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Data Retention

Account data: Retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward unless you request deletion.
Gameplay and leaderboard data: Retained as long as needed to provide game features or until account deletion.
Feedback submissions: Retained up to 24 months for support and product improvement, unless you request earlier deletion.
Local device data: Remains on your device until you clear app storage or uninstall the app.
Legal retention: WoWGames may retain certain records longer if required by law or for dispute resolution.

12. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information WoWGames holds about you
Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
Delete your personal information
Restrict or object to certain processing
Data portability (receive a copy in a structured format)

Account & data deletion (Google Play requirement)

If an app offers account creation (for example, Snake Arena), you may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by:

Using in-app account deletion if available in that app, or
Submitting a request via the website feedback form with the subject line "Account deletion request", including the app name and the email address tied to your account.

WoWGames will verify your request and delete or anonymize eligible data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, fraud prevention or tax records). Some leaderboard entries may be anonymized rather than deleted to preserve historical rankings.

EEA/UK residents may lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. California residents may contact WoWGames to exercise CCPA rights as described above.

13. Children's Privacy

WoWGames Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions where a higher age applies). WoWGames does not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age without verifiable parental consent.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to WoWGames, contact WoWGames immediately and WoWGames will delete that information promptly.

Apps that appeal to children will comply with Google Play Families policies and applicable laws (including COPPA) before release.

14. International Data Transfers

WoWGames may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, WoWGames uses appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognized under applicable law.

15. Changes to This Policy

WoWGames may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When WoWGames makes material changes, WoWGames will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where required, provide additional notice in the app or on the WoWGames website. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
